Take Action
The best method of getting your legislator's attention is a physical letter or fax. Emails are proven to be less effective.
In your letter, be concise (keep it short and to the point), polite (don't rant) and sympathatic to the intent of the bill, and assertively state why the bill will not work. Include a description of your responsibilities as a responsible owner and/or breeder. Include a list of affiliations with clubs and registries. State why you are concerned the bill is unfair or will not work.
